It is a simple and inexpensive option consisting to increase the incinerator volume so that the flue gas flow in a secondary chamber for a residence time of two seconds at 850 °C minimum. This solution reduces level emissions of carbon monoxide (CO), and to some extent, the dust emission. It can to be in compliance with European standards on emissions of this pollutant.
